Wednesday night was rad. It was rad for me, the 26 year old who drove up to Knoxville after work (and got to experience this show with the greatest friend ever, @jilliantheknoxvillian), but it was also super rad for the 15 year old me who still lives in my soul and loves this singer songwriter..and would have never forgiven 26 year old me for not seeing @tylerhilton sing these songs I've spent years loving. I remember in high school when I'd play guitar in class, I'd play songs I thought my friends would know. All the radio stuff. And then I'd say to heck with all that and play "I Believe in You" like my life depended on it because that song gets in your soul. And clearly, it got in my soul and never left like so many of his songs have. And here I am all these years later hearing these songs that still fill me up.
