Let’s discuss the 1/4 peen that @faramforge made for me as a custom order. The fit and finish are fantastic. No mill scale and the faces are both deferentially hardened and beautifully polished. The handle -fit and finish - is perfect. If a tool can be beautiful, this is the embodiment of that. This hammer will be 1/2 of my primary hammer usage in the forge and my cross peen will be used less, but still in rotation. My second #hammer I've ever made. Weighing in right at 3 lbs. I'm very fond of this style of hammer. Simple, yet pleasing. I'm letting the sika cure some more tonight and then I'll oil and torch the handle tomorrow with a final acetone cleanup on the hammer to get the sika all the way off. #forgedhammer #forgeyourworld #forginghammer #blacksmith #blacksmithtools #blacksmithhammer
