Hey! Umm, probably one of the more influential food books I've read was The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. Slow in some parts, but a great read. Along the same vein but easier to finish quickly is The Town That Food Saved by Ben Hewitt. I'm currently reading Coming Home To Eat by Gary Paul Nabhan. He's local to Arizona as am I, so that one may not be as interesting for you? Happy reading and good luck! One a month. We can do this :)
