Thanks you guys♥ You’re angels and you’re wonderful.
I feel bad though because I know people dont mean to trigger me. I’m not really mad at nayone in particular, just the fact that I get triggered this often. It had stopped, but its getting bad again :/ Hopefully it gets better soon. Thanks for always being here for me though *hugs*
Eat salad
For the love of chuck if you hate the show so much, stop watching it.
*sighs*
Is this about the 10x15 post?
Things I Rightfully Critique:
-Writers like Jenny Klein (as well as Buckner, Ross-Leming, Charmelo, & Snyder, etc) who rely too heavily on a slipshod approach to both characterization & established mythology, parallels so painfully obvious they lose any real emotional impact, tacky & sexist humour, racism, and a lack of awareness for sexual consent, when I know they are perfectly capable of writing well executed episodes that do not contain such elements, episodes that I have even enjoyed (ie Hibbing 911).-Pointless deaths of female characters & PoC in ways that do not serve the plot, waste a chance for further interesting exploration of them, and are not even particularly necessary for emotional impact beyond a cheap two minutes of pathos
-Bringing back another boring straight white dude with daddy issues & a gun forming 90% of his personality, who lacks any of the nuance that makes the outwardly similar other protagonists of the show compelling, when there are plenty of far more engaging, well-conceived, original, and diverse characters they could devote an episode to.Things I Don’t Hate, Despite Often Critiquing Elements of, Because To My Mind, Part of Being a Good Fan is Being Able to Admit Where the Flaws Lie, In Order to Push it To Hit Its Fullest Potential Rather Than Letting it Stagnate:
-Supernatural
3, 6, 9, 12, 15 for the SPN thing.
3. 9th was favourite, 8th was least favourite, already answered this a while back :)
6. Changing Channels. There's probably other funny ones but I can't remember. Maybe the 'pudding' one.
9. Criss Angel is a Douchebag
12. Gabriel :)
15. Eh, they're okay. If I had to write a domestic AU with Dean with someone as a background pairing I'd probably go with Lisa. I think that if they're sort of doing the whole making good with the past thing like they did with Claire, they should revisit the Braedens.

Oh no I understand. I'm surprised I haven't thought about it. I think the Prince of Egypt was the only film that got it right really.
I would agree. But then, animation doesn't have the same pressures/limitations on casting that live action does.
(I'm just gonna rant about the 1956 version of The Ten Commandments for a second, because it super annoyed me. They couldn't even get Biblical chronology right. And a bunch of people look to this movie for fact without reading the pertinent passages; not that that's anything new, but still. I'm agnostic, but that shit still irritates me to no end.)

White-washing is nothing new. :(
I'm well aware, unfortunately. I was just pointing this particular one out, especially since I haven't seen anyone else in the fandom make mention of it.
Seeing as I grew up on the 50s version of the Ten Commandments, wherein everyone is basically a tanned white person (so Exodus is just continuing tradition, really), and was disappointed with it then, I'm not really surprised that SPN gets in on the white-washing. The show barely ever passes the Deggans Rule, if at all, so.
*sigh*
