2 - what would you name your future kids?
oh, this is something i really like to think about *smile* for now, if I had a girl I would name her Jagoda, which means ‘blueberry’ in polish, or Hanna or Kora (‘bark’), if i had a boy, at first i would get sad over the fact I cannot name him Gabriel (as my name is Gabriela) and probably choose Aleksander or an old polish name like Stanisław, Franciszek or Miłosz. I really like the shorter versions of the first 3 male names - Olek, Staś and Franek, sound really lovely.
6 - is it hard for you to get over someone?
i would say it’s extremely hard even. there are relationships that ended years ago and i still think about those people that are no longer a part of my life. sooner or later though they fade away, so that even when i think about them i’m not sad, just nostalgic. sometimes i just need to understand that because i love someone i need to let them go. it’s a hard lesson and i’m still learning, still getting there.
7 - what was your life like last year?
it didn’t differ that much from how it’s like right now. i mean, i’m still studying japanology in warsaw, i’m still surrounded by the same people… it just that i’ve learnt a few things, i became more confident, slightly more brave… some of my relationships with people ended painfully, some flourished beautifully and somehow it all feels right, just how it’s supposed to happen. there is still a long road ahead of me but instead of being discouraged by it, i’m excited. i still don’t know what i want but now i know a few things i definitely do not want and it makes me happy. i needed last year to wake up, to realize a few things, to prepare myself for the changes that i feel are soon to come. thanks to that i can stand straighter and whisper, still a little nervously, ‘i’m ready’.
thank you, golden!
