In the year 2020, no website (of a multinational corporation) should reject a phone number because it contains or doesn’t contain dashes. You are big kids and can afford form fills that auto-enter the dashes to make sure everything looks correct.
Also, the IRS “where is your economic impact check” thing, which required me to enter my birth date in the form MM/DD/YYYY, and actually rejected it for not including the slashes.
