I heard about this video on the radio. I never really thought about how in lebanon we have 2 registers of speech, that sound so different. There's "fosha", which she uses at the begining, a very formal way of speaking; fosha is how we write in arabic. Later when she is addressing the guest, they use "the common tongue" I.e. "lebanese arabic", a kind of informal way of speaking, no one actually uses fosha to communicate with other people. It's mostly used on television during the news or shows. What she Is saying is also very vital: she had the audacity to tackle many issues relating to politicians (and she named them!) manipulating the media for their benefit.
