i’m so tired and it’s hard to find enjoyment in things. lately, i find myself pushing myself to be able to feel again. 30 minutes of exercise or a hot bath where i submerge myself under the water and close my eyes or going out to get sunlight. there is a lot of “forcing myself” but it does genuinely become easier. force myself to live, force myself to remember that people exist, force myself to read and to write. to keep creating fantasies—that’s one of the most important ones. i’m not very me if i’m not creating fantasies or writing a story or devising some other universe in my head or assigning rpg classes to my friends. i’m a pegasus knight with a giant axe that sweeps across the battlefield - riding high and fast in a sea of clouds - or a summoner like yuna in final fantasy x - allowing my massive, whimsical monsters to come to life. i may not be having a lot of fun but at least my mind is agile. i’m thankful for that.
