En mars nous entamons un travail de recherche graphique pour accompagner la seconde saison de l’équipe de Nathalie Garraud et Olivier Saccomano, au Théâtre des 13 vents. Le début d’un patient travail pour aboutir à une nouvelle série d’images qui vont rythmer visuellement le programme de saison et la communication pendant toute la saison. Nous affinons en parallèle les supports d’après les retours récoltés au fil de la première saison. Début juin, le programme de saison est imprimé chez CCI (Marseille) puis quelques jours plus tard c’est au tour de l’affiche de saison chez Lézard Graphique (Brumath). Pour cette nouvelle année nous travaillons en CMJN enrichi aux encres fluo.

Like the poster of the Biennale de design graphique of Chaumont, created by Formes Vives, this first edition is meant to be friendly, festive, focused on discussion, exchange, reflection, openness and celebration. The program is like the carrot placed on the table — le Signe, gathering around itself a diverse audience, figured by the characters, who may also be looking through the window.
This year, the program will be covering four months, and featuring the numerous and intense events, starting on May 13. Exhibitions, participative workshops, lectures, concerts, meetings, exchanges will enlive Chaumont and present graphic design and its different forms and expressions.
After the recent opening of le Signe, the Biennale feels like a housewarming party, where everyone is invited, neighbors, friends or travellers… Welcome everyone !

Formes Vives is a beautiful studio straight out of Strasbourg in France. Their fields of action are in social and cultural issues of the visual. For Une Saison Graphique 16, Formes Vives worked in association with Bonnefrite, during a residency in the university of Le Havre. They open the show and talk about the work on wednsday 19th of may, at the Maison de l'étudiant, in Le Havre University.
