It's not more than one set of wings. It's a set of wings with a shadow behind them because of the way Dean's lit up.

So what you’re saying is that we are seeing actual wings with a much lighter wing shadow like in my first suggestion? 

By the time I got around to responding to this, @holy-tax-accountant I saw and read the addition that kittenofdoomage added here. I think that what she said may be along the same lines as what you’re saying and what I put in my first point. And it would be really cool if that were the case. I really can’t wait to find out once season 14 starts to air. 

If they actually address it at all. 

I just had to put my thoughts out there about this. 

Also... What if Sam also has wings but we never knew because we never saw the wings while Lucifer was possessing him???

Ugh. Give our boys wings. lol

Was your cat born without them, too, @whataboutthefish? Child Zero’s cat gave birth to six kittens and three had no tails. We took two of them (someone stole our too trusting overly loving boy) and now when I see cats with tails it throws my brain for a moment before it catches up that cats normally have tails.
