Relationship: It's going swimmingly. I don't think we're terribly traditional, in that our flirting is usually in the form of mockery, and he's terrible when it comes to the emotional bits because his dad pretty much Dean'ed that out of him but my dad was never terribly good at dealing with my emotions either and my mom likes to tease I married a guy who is *just* like my dad. To the point it's almost creepy sometimes.
That’s great it is going so well. I understand the “marry your father” thing. The longer I’m with Husband (going on 14 years) the more I see similarities between him and my dad. It can be infuriating at times and endearing at others.
