The region of Sector 01 portrayed itself as perhaps one of the quieter areas within city borders. It had been where Saber took time to walk, in effort to clear her head - even with the leisure time she had in the wars she’d been summoned to, they had been with purpose. this, however... what was the objective for her to do with such bountiful time?
Her saunter had slowed to a halt and eyes skyward. Fascination was rift over the levitating island; firstly, what kept it afloat, and why?
It played distraction momentarily, yet that had been all the time necessary for the street to shake violently. Saber backed from the chattering buildings in anticipation for their collapse. and they did - just not in the fashion she had expected.
they were sinking like concrete had become quicksand, and none seemed to emerge from the doors. It was an alarming sight to behold, with the wonder of how many had gone down with them. But it was not yet over, as replacements arose, and by the culmination of the quake, all was as if nothing had happened. save for the rearranged faces - the street as a whole swapped for another.
She was dazed with effort to process it all, and scoured the street with question as to why none reacted to the phenomenon. The one she approached was another servant; a factor which could wait until after what she deemed more pressing. “What force sunk the buildings that were here? None of the citizens appeared fazed - how can they bear no expression to the taking of entire structures, and those within?”
