The man barely sugar coats anything, simply stating the truth when medicine was made out of the flowers that were harvested. A true shame, since flowers themselves were quite beautiful. Yet, their medicine was indeed necessary for the wellbeing of life. Their beauty was the sacrifice to health. 

A hand up to his chin, and Sanson pondered on the medicine man’s words. He was a specialist in medicine? Interesting. 

“I am not in any sort of pain, in particular, although I have been meaning to learn more about the making of medicine through natural means. Is this something you have practiced in regularly?”

Hallmarks of civilization, regardless of where one went in the world. In truth, he wasn’t entirely sure what had brought him here; he only felt the need to come to this distant land on what seemed like a whim...
