Oh man, this was such a great walk. I got the train from Forsinard to Altnabreac, and then walked ten miles back across the bog. If you're after an adrenaline fix of soaring peaks, gnarly ridges and yawning chasms.....then move on. Flow Country isn't like that. This is Europe's largest blanket bog, so if you like massive skies, peat, moss, flatness, and a sense of dislocation unlike anywhere else in Scotland.....then it might be more your thing.
I think this has probably ended up being my favourite of any vlog I've shot.....but yep, that does mean it's a long one. Even by my standards! I make no apology for that, because there's loooooooads to say about the place and it deserves full-on maxed-out uber-blethering in order to convey the stark grandeur of the place. You have been warned ;-)
