10) How they deal with pain.

Physically? Grins and bears it, probably. She’s no stranger to it, having been athletic for most of her life, and especially once she got to Hogwarts and started playing Quidditch. She’s not one to complain about period cramps, or various aches and pains, and the only indication of her having a headache will be a bit of squinting and maybe being a bit snappier than usual, and she’ll be damned if she’s gonna cry over getting hit by a bludger.

Emotionally, she’s usually pretty solid anyway, but when something does get her down, she’s liable to turn to sex or drinking as a way to distract herself. Sometimes a good girls night is all it takes, too.

13) What kind of parent they would be.

I think Neala has had the privilege of always feeling safe. Like, she’s heard some awful stories from her grandparents, and even her mum and aunt, and she knows the history of both her worlds, but she’s always been at a safe distance from any harm.

5) A cherished personal belonging.

Probably the first thing he stole, which I’ve never really given much thought to before. It’s probably something small, just a little trinket of some sort. A keychain, maybe, or a wallet card for some random company or person. He totally has a little box with a bunch of random shit from his first thefts.

14) How they did in school

Linz actually does decently in school, and, no, it’s not (all) from cheating. He’s no genius, and he’s not big studier, but he gets by. He’s got a good memory, and he’s very attentive to details; he retains a lot without even trying. Interest in a given class helps, but he’s going to remember things either way. He’s also good at bullshitting and making it sound great, which helps with essays. The key is to pad it with tidbits you’d only know if you were paying attention, but to make sure it’s all still tied together.

23) What kind of alcohol they drink

What kind of alcohol doesn’t he drink?

11) This character’s favorite piece or pieces of clothing.

I know jewellery isn’t technically clothing, but I’m going that way, anyway. He has a deathly hallows necklace that used to belong to his dad, and he wears it pretty much every day.

12) How they sleep.

He’s used to not sleeping alone, to be honest. At home, Micah usually crawls in with him, and, at Hogwarts, if it’s not Micah, it’s one of the lads. He definitely sleeps better with someone else there to ground him and keep the nightmares at bay.

When he does sleep alone, there’s a lot of tossing and turning, and a lot of waking up, and just generally restless sleep.

13) What kind of parent they would be.

An overly cautious one, probably. Knowing how badly parents can fuck you up, he’d be so scared of doing the wrong thing, no matter how unintentionally. He’d probably be scared out of his mind about even picking them up as a baby, because what if he drops them? Or grips them too hard?

He’d also be a bit of a doormat as a parent, because he’s not prepared to discipline his children. Even verbally, there’d be no real heat to it when he’s telling them they did something wrong, or that they can’t do something.

22) How they spend their money.

Maddie is more of a saver than a spender, since he has Big Plans to move out with Micah and such, but, well, he doesn’t have a job or anything, so that’s been slow going. I think he and Micah both have some money in a trust fund somewhere that their dad left them, but they won’t get it until they’re 17 or something.

But when he does spend it, I think Maddie likes to by gifts for his friends, and sweets, and, like, records and stuff for his bass.
