20. What are the most deeply impressive political or social, national or international, events that they experienced?

Well, I headcanon Hopes’ birthday as January 5, 1980. So, she has lived through: 

-The boycott of the Moscow Olympics-The eruption of Mt. St. Helens Volcano-The Ronald Reagan era-Sandra Day O’Connor being the first female Supreme Court Associate Justice-Astronaut Sally Ride being the first female astronaut in space-The Cold War-The Berlin Wall coming down-The Hubble telescope being launched-Desert Storm-The Gulf War-NAFTA-The OJ Simpson Trial-Bill Clinton Scandal-9/11+ everything that we can all remember.

21. What are your character’s manners like? What is their type of hero? Whom do they hate?

Hope has impeccable manners, but she can often portray her true feelings through them, as seen with Hank early on in the Ant-Man movie. Hope’s biggest hero is her mother. As far as hating anyone, she really doesn’t, unless they’re a truly despicable person. She doesn’t even hate Darren. She’s just upset by what happened to him. She does hate HYDRA. And evil people in general.

♧ Any part of their canon portrayal you dislike for your muse?

Well, if we’re going for MCU canon which is what I’m most familiar with, I would have to say the entire Brutasha ship is something I dislike. I love both characters, yet felt that the ship rather detracted from their defining qualities (especially Natasha’s), and that there was truly no solid foundation for the ship previously. I approve of Bruce and Natasha perhaps forming a stronger friendship through their experiences as Avengers, but I never thought they would make a good couple. Also, which I’m sure you’ve thought similarly, WHAT HAS MCU DONE WITH BETTY ROSS--IT’S UNACCEPTABLE WHATEVER IT IS. What I would give to see Mark’s Bruce and Liv’s Betty interact on the silver screen, that’s all I’ll say. 

♚ Do you agree with fandom interpretation of your character?  (theworkbehindstark also asked this one!)

That really depends on what section of the fandom we’re talking about here, but generally there’s little that I am adamantly against. I do have Science Bros as a strong, brotherly bond rather than a romantic ship, but that is truly how I view them. Other than that, perhaps the fact while he may be quieter and less in the social spotlight than say Tony, Bruce is by no means has less sass or, in fact, humor--and there is such a thing as an angry Bruce Banner, not just an adrenaline-stimulated Hulk--I’m actually more frightened of a livid Bruce with all of his knowledge at his disposal than the Hulk at times, to be quite frank.

// She doesn’t have much to give, to be quite honest. Growing up a slave, the number of material possessions or items of value she has is really quite small. But the things she does have would be split between her brother and her husband. Skaara would probably get anything Sha’uri had that belonged to their mother (I’ve headcanoned that she has a necklace from her mom, so that), or anything that’s very specifically related to their family or their childhood, etc. Daniel would probably get the things on Abydos that had belonged to them - things he probably didn’t think to take when he joined SG-1. And that makes me sad because like… just normal, everyday stuff from their home that isn’t particularly significant except for the fact that she’s dead and they’ll never use it again.

And now I hurt so…. Imma go cry about it.
