"You can keep opening the fridge as many times as you wanna, Ty, there's no food in there," the dark haired Brit reiterated for what felt like the thousandth time. She sat perched on the kitchen counter, alternating between turning the sink off and on and watching her unwitting house guest of the last few days as he scrounged her kitchen for something edible besides poptarts and chocolate protein powder. "When we made the food budget, Teej went shopping, and he came home with whatcha see. Well, actually, I went out and bought the protein shakes. For workouts."
Saraya affected a bored look as she rested her chin on her hand, her two cats falling in on either side of her, "You can probably leave now, besides, yanno? You're not trapped here anymore by the travel ban... I can call you a cab if you don't want to walk?"
Shrugging her shoulder halfheartedly, she sighed to herself, knowing he'd reject her offer almost instinctively, but also a small part of her wishing he would. She hadn't gotten the chance to lick her wounds from the night prior, putting on her best face to seem like she wasn't phased by the apparent betrayal of one of their classmates when she hadn't done wrong by any of them that she knew. If she was honest, though, she supposed Rami had a quarrel with them, but Rami would never, ever do such a thing, and he didn't know, anyway.
