Top 10 Games I Want Ported FROM PC VI: Fully Loaded
Top 10 Games I Want Ported FROM PC VI: Fully Loaded
Time to return to my April Fools’ tradition. What is left to say about it that I haven’t said in years past? I’ve done five lists so far, and now I’ll be doing a sixth. That’s almost impressive in a sense, if only because that means there are still so many games exclusive to the PC, even as it becomes more and more difficult to find games for my own self-serving lists. Of course, part of the…

arche’s inability to understand death threats is the best part of these pre-boss cutscenes
Stella Mayberk from Fortune Summoners!! She’s one of my 2 favorites :)
Arche Plumfield from Fortune Summoners!! I started replaying it a few days ago :)
I finished another Piece! This is Sana Poanet from the Game Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stones. Though the fandom (not like it had any) is dead, I still adore the characters.
Here’s a preview of what I’m drawing right now
Fortune Summoners
(nominated by @babybahamut)
Fortune Summoners (Steam store link) was one of the three games in the “Carpe Fulgur Collection” I bought 6 years ago, back in July 2012. And the only reason I bought that bundle was because I wanted to support the devs, as BB said they were worth the support (and they are). I played one other game in the bundle pretty much right away, but then never touched any of these games again.
This game is pretty much your classic action RPG, but with a very charming dust cover. You play as a swordsman girl who moved into a town where magic is the main ability, and she has to learn magic now at the local school, and then stuff happens. The art is very cute. The gameplay... not so much.
Fin or Bin?
Okay, so BB nominated this game for me, knowingly I probably wouldn’t like it because of the controls. Guess what? It’s true! The controls are the most slippery I’ve ever encountered and that makes this game entirely not enjoyable for me. The charm is there and I would have played it a bit longer to see if I actually wanted to give it a chance, but the controls made an end to that much sooner, so into the bin it goes. I probably still would have binned it anyway, as action RPGs generally aren’t my thing, but I would have gotten more into the story and maybe actually have been interested.
Maybe I’ll convince BB to play it again and stream it. I’ll watch it then.
