Vanitas had no idea why he needed a babysitter. So what if he’d tried to pull Ventus’ heart out to rejoin with him before Xehanort’s little plan had been complete? Sure, it would have eliminated one of the darknesses that Xehanort needed so badly, but Vanitas didn’t see how that was his problem. All Xehanort would need to do is pull some other poor sap out of cold storage to use.
The Master had more. Probably.
Either way, there was hardly anything he could do about it now. Vanitas uncrosses his arms looks around the world they’ve landed on.
The Dwarf Woodlands was a quiet world, it had been the first that Ventus had visited. The air was sweeter than any other he’d been to, and the way the light hit was so different from the Graveyard… it was almost gentle.
It was as good a place as any to hide a sleeping Ventus.
“Right. Since that loser went and got his heart lost, I’m not gonna be able to sense where his body is. We’ll need to find him the old fashioned way.” It was time to start searching on foot.
