It may be #flexfriday but i prefer to call it #forwardprogressfriday instead! One thing I hear over and over from my Challengers is their frustrations with seeing progress made through numbers on the scale. The scale is such a liar and such a unfair indicator of true Health and Fitness, that we actually celebrate and focus on NON-SCALE victories and are challenge groups. Today, I celebrate one of my own #NSVs. I've only been doing this new program for 3 weeks and I'm seeing crazy, new definition in my shoulders and arms. So even though the title of the program talks all about CORE, it's definitely hitting all areas of the body which is what an effective program should do. Our fitness Journeys are really about forward progress. Sure we all have some two steps back one step forward days. As long as we keep moving forward then we will keep seeing progress and working towards our goals. The trick to remember is that perfection is unattainable nor why would anyone truly want it because truth be told it would make life pretty boring. Focus on doing you and keep the reasons why you're doing this in the Forefront of your mind so that when the days do get difficult and you do want to make excuses, youll still push forward and get it done. No one has ever regretted a workout that they got in.
