After a long hiatus, here is the begging of my NCR sketch/piece series! Hope you enjoy:)

The NCR uniform consists of many pieces. A cotton khaki over-shirt that covered a white t-shirt. This over-shirt has one NCR flag on the right arm, and a place for unit insignia on the left. These shirts are made by the Reno Cotton Company, the suppliers of NCR uniforms since 2153. Brahmin leather webbing holds tighter ammunition pouches and rifle slings that attach to the soldiers body. Brown cotton trousers are held in place by wooden or brass buttons, depending on rank or wealth. Tan puttees wrap around the legs and partially cover the boots. Boots are the only non standard portion of the NCR uniform. Every soldier is required to have their own, so they can range from polished black ammunition boots, sneakers, and plain leather boots.

Battle dress uniforms change depending on climate, and the Mojave is no exception. Due to change in climate and normal desert temperatures it isn’t odd to see an NCR patrolman wearing a scarf with a Big Horner fur coat. Big Horner fur is know for being somewhat water resistant and it keeps the heat in on cold nights. The soldier here sports an old Patrolman’s armband to identify him from afar. These bands were standard of local NCR patrols of Junktown in the 2140's. The old design of the NCR flag can be seen.

After the Second Battle of Hoover Dam the New California Republic celebrated its victory, and establishing definitive control over the entire Mojave Wasteland. A new found sense of patriotism was found in the republic. Many companies rushed to create comemerative materials to honor the heros of the NCR-Legion War. The Wright Family in New Reno began producing comemerative plates in honor of General Lee Oliver.

I've been wanting to contuine my Spice of Life series where I explore more intricate and small lore details of the Fallout Series, just like I did with my NCR uniforms peice or the Victory Plate peice.

Quick wind down sketch of an NCR National Guardmen.

The darker green uniform is indicative of their location. NCR soldiers outside of desert conditions wear green overshirts instead of khaki. This soldier, a member of the NCR National Guard, is on maneuvers in Tioyabe Forrest.

Fallout Ronto sketches I’ve been working on, I’ll be incrementally updating these every now and then. I hope you like it!

Sketch studies of Ronto citizens. A heavy set of clothes is imparative for the harsh weather of the Frozen Wastes, especially during the Great Winter. The upper class supporters of the Occupation get acess to rich non-irradiated materials to make three piece suits in the vein of Old World fancy. The dregs of the annex mostly wear whatever they can find, even if they strip it from a skeleton sitting in a long since abandoned car. Though there is tell of a gang of ruffians with ties to the Insurgency that have donned leather jackets with a unquie design on it.

A series of ghostly portraits etched into the rusted metal of wrecked cars along Highway 401 started appearing in the early 2100's. They appear to be carved into the metal with knife or other sharp piece of metal in the visage of one of the ghost travelers. No one knows the origin of these visages, but several caravans have reported the feeling of being watched whenever they see one of these etchings.
