The funniest thing I ever saw on this website was an infographic with safe fruits and vegetables dogs could eat, and in the comments someone going "OR MAYBE YOU COULD FEED YOUR DOG SOME DAMN MEAT AND GET AN IGUANA IF VEGGIES AND FRUITS ARE SO IMPORTANT" Like.. chill. Yahto freaking loves dehydrated apple chips and carrots and bananas as an occasional snack or treat. She's not gonna die because I give her a fruit or veggie omg

Yahto got a nice-sounding adoption application, y'all. I’m nervous, but I called them and they both seemed lovely. We’ll see how it goes.

She's 28 pounds and about 14 inches at the shoulder (around that, I wasn't sure how to measure her height), but she has a high butt so it's kind of a mess. She'll be six months in early October and I've had her since she was 12 pounds at three months old.
I don't think she's going to get very big at all; it's been years since I had a puppy long enough to see them really grow past six months but I do remember my Doberman Lea being much bigger than Yahto at 6 months.
Yahti is hitting a growth spurt I think (she's looking more leggy, awkward, and skinnier) but she doesn't want to eat more dry food, so I'm gonna start mixing in a little canned again because she goes nuts for it.
If I had any doubts that Yahti was part border collie (or at least part herding breed) they're gone now. Lately she's been exhibiting herding behaviors like nuts. She hides, crouches, and stalks other dogs and animals very low to the ground and she'll stay completely still for 30 seconds or more before bolting full speed to chase whatever she was focused on.
I am so tired, I don't even know what to do. I gave Yahto some new toys that were donated to the rescue because that shithead destroyed all her good ones but I feel so horrible and guilty. They're so small and low quality compared to the ones Milo ripped apart and I just feel plain awful after dog sitting that little demon. I want to sleep forever and never wake up 😰
