When (former) Foster Friday meets #caturday... Frances (a @richmondspca alum) is going on two years with us. (I fostered her briefly.) She still makes her home solely in the master bedroom and bath (very fearful of open/unfamiliar spaces; you can imagine how shut down she was in the shelter). That's ok, though, because in her relatively small dwelling, she's perfectly happy, healthy and adjusted, and a furry package of pure affection. ❤️ Pure #joy! I took a squillion pictures of Lele the day I officially adopted her (two weeks ago today) from Richmond Animal Care and Control, and just realized I only posted the one (of both of us) two weeks ago. Out of town and missing my critters again...It was especially hard leaving this face earlier today. #FosterDog Lele is too senior (among other things) to take much more of my running around antics. (Though, when my husband FaceTime'd me earlier, with Lele all snuggled up in his side, she didn't seem too terribly put out.) 😊 It was sweet to see her ears prick and her head turn when she heard my voice through the phone, though.
