This evening's art.
Ren's the kind of person who would probably be too much most of the time and would incorporate her projects into daily life (hence dye work and seamstry working its way into their wardrobe). The DNA symbol is common for -ens to use when they're either at the third stage of Omni-conversion or when their relationship with the Plumbers is rocky.
Ren works DNA and Vulp-en imagery into a lot of things, including their handle (similar to a pictographic name). The top right drawing is concept art for their formal wear for places such as the Hidden City or Amity Park's Ghost Zone, basically for formal things related in some way to her Anodite heritage. She dislikes sleeves (sensory) and so is wearing a vest— which she'd naturally embroider with string dyed with luminescent ectoplasm. The veil is a Vulp thing. Their hair is shortened by reducers in loose sections and their skirt is made of extraterrestrial fibers. The DNA imagery is more extracted here and extends to the body marks (done with more ecto derivatives) in the style of henna. Ren has manna shards along their body coloured green because, not to repeat myself, but they eat a lot of ecto.
This outfit would probably have mixed reactions, looking ridiculous in most topside settings (it's not for __human town halls, for instance) but is incredibly respectful in others.
The second drawing is a comparison shot of Ren's hologram versus how they actually look. The right is the hologram, if it weren’t obvious, and was designed for its approachability and banality. It is noticeably darker than Ren per a misapplication of a blemish obscuring feature (they have pallor which the program recognizes as an injury, thus it counterbalances by making them darker) which was never readjusted out of colourism (that's a whole different post).
