Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation is here. It launched a couple of weeks ago and after trying a bunch of different shades, I’ve figured out that I’m the colour 6 Neutral. This is a medium finish, luminous foundation that is long-wearing and maintains its glowy look. Personally, I grew up with oily skin, so I put powder on top of everything, but the glow still comes through and this foundation looks beautiful. I’ve tried it in natural light, fluorescent light, and a bunch of different settings and it really does always look beautiful. Medium coverage works really well for me because you can sheer it out with a brush or layer it to add more. I also love a pump, 1 pump is perfect for my whole face. I’ll be getting a warmer colour to use in the summer but this is perfect right now. Thanks to @charlottetilbury for hooking me up. I’m enjoying using this. I know many people like seeing the foundation colour so they can decide what colour to buy, so swipe to see a swatch. The 6 series doesn’t come in a warm tone but I’m happy with the neutral. For @_claudia72. Here is an interesting shade comparison between the No. 1 de Chanel in BR 22 (left in both photos) and the new Nars in Deauville. Pinker on the left and so much warmer on the right. Both look perfect on my skin. Hard to imagine but true. Here we have three different shades of the new Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin foundation. This illustrates, to me, why so many of us are having trouble getting the right shade. It’s the darn undertone. So, from left to right, here, we have 4 warm followed by 5 neutral and then, on the right, 6 neutral. I repeat the photo in both studio and natural light. If you notice, the 6 neutral actually leans maybe even warmer than the 4 warm. The 5 neutral comes off as the most middle of the road in terms of undertone. I originally picked up the 5n and 6n but went to the counter today and they actually prefer me in the 4 W. Go figure! am still experimenting.
