garrett being invited to the stilinski house for all the holidays but just watching from a distance because he sees how close stiles and the sheriff are and he doesn't have the chance to have that kind of relationship with his own parents
see stiles wouldn't have that mickey mouse bullshit, he'd pull garrett to join in if he liked it or not. but i kinda see on christmas eve, stiles just all cuddled up and asleep on garrett. garrett then just cries cuz he's so happy to be spending christmas with someone who makes him feel apart of the family
