i let blade, a very social, rarely fronting, and semi-verbal alter, take my place today. apparently, at some point, our electrolyte drink (water, salt, sugar, (lime) juice) had fermented (we bake bread as a hobby) and. she just. added water flavoring to not taste like salted lime and drank it anyway??? my good sword.

learned that the origin of the word dumpling originally referred to fluffy bread boiled in soup and got so excited to try some that i made a big bowl of dumplings in a spiced chicken broth that i ate it all and got a tummy ache. suffering hours

it is! honestly, becoming an alter was the best thing to ever happen to me! all my source memories are work and stress and more work, and while the others keep teasing me about "cuteness", it's still so fun! i got to sew up some holes in clothing, and i tried peanut butter for the first time. i may be a thousand years old, but theres so much to learn!
