the funniest part about the RUST streams is how different everyone's POVs are, like, ryan got into a routine super quickly, very peaceful life with his dad arcadum and his cult and then you have rae and sonii killing each other repeatedly but still working together to loot the whole island and everyone accidentally shooting each other, then you have both myth and jae randomly going rampant and killing everyone, while abe is just being chaotic neutral, sykkuno is being sykkuno and trying to talk everyone out of killing him and his group (even if it means letting people steal from him) instead of just killing them first, ash is just trying to do everything for everyone and thanking them for letting her help them, brooke and corpse can't stop killing each other, not to mention corpse getting lost every five minutes, and brooke and mason also constantly killing each other only to be told off by myth for wasting bullets, ludwig dying in the funniest ways possible all the time and losing all his things pretty much every single time, and of course leslie being hilariously 'indoctrinated' into arcadum's cult and leaving toast's group but 'not mentally or spiritually' lmaoo i am truly living for this content i can't even decide who's stream i want to watch the most

I don’t normally talk about streamers, but I just wanted to say that I truly appreciate Disguised Toast. He doesn’t have as active a fandom as Sykkuno or Corpse or Valkyrae, but I adore his streams. I think he displays a lot of maturity when talking about fandom culture, as shown by him saying that he cared about his audience as his audience, but that there are simply too many people for him to act as if he is friends with every single one of his fans. That’s possibly why I don’t see a lot about him on tumblr, because his fans tend to be people who recognize this and are not as involved in fandom. Not to offend anyone, those are just different perspectives and people live their lives as they want (as long as they don’t hurt or make anyone uncomfortable).

I just wanted to say that Toast really seems like a good person, as far as I can see. People like Lily, Rae, Sykkuno, Aria etc are always talking about how Toast has been a great friend and I think we can see that from his streams and how he’s always trying to help everyone have fun. Aside from that, the moments he takes to talk to chat seem to be genuine, with Toast talking about the reality of being a streamer, or how he doesn’t actually need donations, or how he feels about being excluded from the amigops, despite being the one who brought them all together.

This last part was why I felt the need to make this post. As a casual viewer of those four (Toast, Rae, Sykkuno and Corpse), I wish people would give Toast a little more credit for the content he creates and just the person he is in general. He may be a different person irl, we don’t know, but the image he projects is one of intelligence and concern for his friends and realism. Also, for all the jokes he makes about girls hitting him up on twitter/insta, he has said that he wouldn’t date a fan because the power dynamics would be weird, which I respect. I hope he continues to succeed, because we need more internet personalities like him.
