Part 3 of our Site Explanations - Listener Profile Summary
Today we will explain the Listener Account. This is the profile page that you will have when you sign up as a user. This account will allow you to download as well as comment on any content we have on our site. It will also give you access to a lot of other free content and aspects of the site that are specifically for our users! As you'll see, this profile page is a great example of how simple and straightforward we kept this site. We feel that our content speaks for itself, and the easier we can make it for people to access our content and start connecting with each other the stronger our community will be!
Big Blue Bar - Besides just looking really cool this bar identifies a profile as that of a user (the artist's profiles are purple). This will also display the icon of the genre this person identifies themselves with.
Middle Section - the center and right part of this section are reserved for a brief bio that listeners can write about themselves. Stuff like where they're from, favorite tunes or foods, pet peeves, and how much they loved the new Justin Bieber record all in a short paragraph. To the left of this section you'll find the User's Tag Name as well as a picture of their smiling faces (or their blue steele look depending on the person). Under that you'll find all the icons from genres that the user is interested in as well as a link to a full list of their past downloads and comments and up to three other sites belonging to the user (twitter, facebook, myspace, etc.)
Lower/Right Section - Very simply put, we're going to have the Last 10 tracks/albums a user has downloaded from the site on their profile as well as an area people can comment on their profile. This will hopefully encourage people to to converse, tell each other how awesome their musical taste is and how sweet their abs look in their profile pic (Note: Please don't post pictures of your abs on our site).
