[crappy-homestuck-confessions]

okay so i just always disliked the number 4 not only cuz of being raised to see it as a bad luck number, but i also just hate its guts

homestuck for some reason made me actually appreciate it because of how many groups of 4 you could make or just how often it seemed to pop up(besides 4/13), with 4 kids per session that add up to 8 kids, and another 4 would equal to the 12 main trolls.

it makes no sense and i hate it but homestuck conditioned me to like the number 4 or at the very least TOLERATE it

this isn't the first time anyone has ever hosted a rp oscar kinda of thing. i think people totally flunked the idea because ofc not everyone is going to get nominated. don't let anyone anyone bring it down if you're saying it was made for positivity. i think it was a pretty good idea with some flaws, but ofc someone in the community had to double mask it with negativity.

question of semantics. i understand where they’re coming from, i really do, i suffer from general anxiety like many people though i know i can’t be a mouthpiece because not everyone’s experience is the same. what i had a problem with was the shaming and the way people were starting to see that one post and look down on the people who were all for it (i saw one person tag how elitist and vile it was on another blog) and i wish it didn’t have to come down to being this big dramatic thing that always somehow seems to come around this community once a month. i honestly do believe it was just meant to be a fun-spirited thing to bring people together but i guess some didn’t see it like that and it stinks.
