"the battery" was such a good original follow-up to the og s4 finale! tensions and stakes rose fast and steve breaking down was so heartbreaking :(

he's been so obscenely (non-derogatory <3) in-love with wheeler and now said love of his life is ready to die for him and his family 😭

excited to see the finale! will miss this duo, the fluff that came with them already being an established couple with their various ups and downs made for a breathe of fresh air compared to the more angstier incarnations of their love <3 no shade meant ofc to the other stories it's just nice to be immersed in more lovey-dovey stuff every so often!

Omg thank you! The stakes rising quickly after that finale would’ve made so much sense for the actual show.

For the finale, I am going to have all of the Wheelers end up together during the fighting, so a little bit of family angst, but mostly all of them just being badasses lol!

And I knew we all definitely needed Fourth Wheeler and its fluff for a bit before I got into my Hopper story, which is chocked full of angst. So enjoy the fluff while it lasts! But the deviations for Hopper are going to be a lot of fun, and we’re gonna be able to explore so many what if scenarios!

Just a heads up for my stories after Hopper, which will be a Byers reader and then a babysitter reader who looked after the boys when they were little. Byers will be angsty, I’m going to have more appearances of Lonnie (at least in season two, and probably four), but also a lot of fluff because the Byers family just loves each other. The babysitter reader, whose story I’m still working on, will probably be closer to a fifty-fifty with the angst and the fluff.

Also, in season four I’ll be adding two extra chapters which will be the end of this story. This means that the Cali crew (Mike) will be in Hawkins to fight and we can get Wheeler sibling moments. Also, I’ll be having Holly and Karen involved during those two chapters so the entire family will get to do some sort of fighting together!

I don’t think I’ll be able to get the next chapter out tonight. It’s 11pm for me right now and I do have most of the chapter written, but (without spoiling anything) I still have an entire conversation for the reader to have with Karen, a real, in depth conversation, and it’s just gonna take a while. It’s the last thing I have to write for this chapter, but I have to get up early tomorrow. I didn’t realize how long this chapter was gonna take since the canon events were so short lol! Anyway, I think I can get it out around the afternoon tomorrow eastern standard time. Love ya’ll!
