Commander Fox has always and forever will be my favorite clone tropper.
He didn’t get much if any screen time compared with his brothers but what we did see gave us very good insights into his character.
For one he is incredibly loyal, he fights tooth and nail for the republic despite the clear lack of respect or support the troopers get, and Fox would have to experience this first hand as the Commander of TCG.
He’s stern but not unkind, he stays true to his training and the system of rules and laws, though stubborn he does listen to reason and would probably enjoy a good debate. [EX. Ahsoka’s trial when she was being held prisoner]
He’s trained his soldier’s incredibly well, he cares for them and especially for their lives. Is he didn’t he wouldn’t have trained them as hard as he did, during the same episode previously mentioned the CG acted effectively and smoothly clear that they had been trained well to the point that these situations came naturally in how to handle.
And with no clear commanding general Fox was probably left to all the shiny training.
Commander Fox is amazing. He is my favorite and my canonical husband. He doesn’t deserve the hate he gets.
