Dice Bags

If you play tabletop RPG's you know how special dice can be. You search for the perfect ones, you sweet talk them, win them over, cherish them. They do, after all, decide your characters fate. They deserve the best treatment you can give them or fear the horror of critically failing.

(Side note: I once played in a game where the object was to save a town and instead ended up growing the grass around it ten stories high. Ops! Bad dice!)

My stock has been resting in this mason jar for far too long now; they need a much more comfy (not to mention portable) home.

Yes, those are mostly d10s because I'm running a Whitewolf game and I like to roll about a million dice at once. Don't you just love that sound of a handful of dice hitting the table at the same time? Music to my ears.

Now, the set I usually use is that sky blue colored ones up there, along with the orange d6s (don't they look like creamsicles? I wish I could eat them). A little fact about me: I love color coding and matching things. So, duh, I needed to make a dice bag to match my dice.

I made a simple drawstring bag with a round bottom so it would stand up nicely, and used ribbon to bunch the top closed. The next one I make will have the lining fabric instead of ribbon, though. If you need a guide to go off try this one. It's super detailed and has lots of nice pictures.

I chose foxes and pretty colors because I enjoy being the girly girl who runs/plays role playing games. Who said the two never mix? Suck it conventional gender stereotypes.
