Dogs on the Boat

Three of the four extended family Shelties joined us for a pontoon ride.  What's it like to have dogs on the boat?  It makes us all more awesome.  And they are so very cute.  Can the dogs drive the boat?  You’ll have to watch to find out.

Standardized Tests vs ADHD

Observe 福然然 (Fú Rán Rán) taking her annual standardized test online at home - no other kids and classroom distractions, plus all the accommodations.  So much wiggling.

Me: Do you want a chair and table?

然然 (Rán Rán): I want a dog bed and a testing hut.

Me: No roof - I need to peek in at you.

然然 (Rán Rán): Fiiiiiiine.

New Stilts - Test Walk

Do you want to see all the ridiculousness of my initial test walk with my new stilts?  In less than three minutes you'll get to see the cool ratchet straps I went with for the top strap as well as our struggles getting me up and back down again because the stool we tried to use is NOT TALL ENOUGH.  HA!

When we were up in the Northwoods, we took the kids to Bond Falls.  It's been about ten years since we were last there, and it was a lovely (though somewhat treacherous) hike.

Trailer Retrieval Gone Wrong

We had a planned two-hour trip to grab the bike trailer.  But nothing went right and six-ish hours later we got home without the trailer.  Things like this make it hard to get writing done!
