I just saw The Lost Boys musical, the movie was a pivotal moment in my life and I thought I could let the original run pass me by and hope for a larger tour...but your gif set reblogs and excitement went a long way to push me into "fuck it, I'll fly across the country to see a musical" and my god that is one of the most musicals ever, that's gonna become a personality trait, I'm about to be so annoying to friends about it. Thank you for helping push me to take the leap, it was well worth the travel.

The movie also very pivotal to tiny me back in the day. I was pretty skeptical for most of the production but it has charmed me. Most musical ever indeed like wow they just throw everything at that wall.

That's a big part of why I've stuck to tumblr too, was the easy access and understandability of the notes when I know I'd be trying to check every reblog chain obsessively if they were separated out. This is going to create such a fucking nightmare...

it sucks!!!! it sucks so bad!!!!! surely they know this sucks bad!!!! are they just trying to get rid of us so they can put tumblr out to pasture? or maybe they want to just clear out some of us more obsessive types so they can get in some #Influencers and get back to being an aesthetic website...

this sucks. this sucks bad. such an important part of tumblr has been the interactivity. I LOVE being able to talk to someone who reblogs my post from 7 years ago. now I won't even necessarily know if that happens? I love getting notes on old posts... reminds me they exist. fuck. I'm so frustrated rn.

She (especially after the personal story and everything with Zhaitan and the Risen) can't stand swamps; they're her least favorite natural space to be in.

She occasionally hums tunes to herself (especially when doing paperwork), which can vary wildly from things she heard in Caledon/the Grove to sea shanties from Lion's Arch to one part of a Metal Legion song she got stuck in her head to things she made up on her own.

She once, early in the personal story, was very tired, picked up her sword to sharpen it, and somehow managed to throw it a few feet so that it stuck into the ground hilt-up. She left it there the rest of the night and did the sharpening in the morning.

You got me curious about and to pick up Ruiner, and now after less than a week I've played it through twice and am looking into fabricators who might be able to make the helmet for a cosplay. The tumble into intense interest, speculation, and obsession is real

AAAA IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD for such a weird short game fdgdsfgf I'm not even that into cosplay and that's easily like the number one cosplay I'd love to do if I had the resources for it. The aesthetic and overall vibes are just -chef kiss- augh. Perfection.

I feel like there's plenty of actual interesting and insightful analysis that could be written about RUINER and the contrast/interplay between the story's themes and the hyper-violent gameplay loop but whenever I think about it and try to talk about it I'm just like "hhhhhfhdf... art direction good... combat SO flashy......"

Do you know if there will be spare haunts books for purchase? I'd missed the kickstarter (by just one day 😭 and was hoping there'd be another way eventually to snag the book

there should be! after i finish shipping all of the kickstarter rewards i'll be taking stock of how many i have left & work on setting up a store for them online. best way to make sure you don't miss out on that is to join my newsletter! i'd also love to do a second print run if i'm able to, at some point!
