@thraann as a lesbian, I find yuri no more than a porn genre. Its contributing to the sexualization of lesbians and I hate the term. If you support yuri or yaoi I hope no gay person ever has to interact with you
i’m late but thank you i didn’t have the energy to deal with this person at the time
we grew a pineapple and honestly this is so aesthetic

But... Noun. yuri (uncountable) (slang, pornography, anime, manga) A form of hentai involving two or more females in a homosexual relationship. (slang, anime, manga) A narrative or visual work featuring a romance or sexual relationship between two or more females.
see, but the thing about calling all same sex relationships yaoi or yuri is those terms are almost exclusively used to refer to hentai. calling any lesbian ship yuri implies that lesbian relationships are inherently sexual, which is something the lgbt community has always struggled to move away from
not to mention, if you go to their blog it’s almost exclusively posts abt gay people/lesbians and they even use the “blessed yuri” tag on photos of real life lesbians which is honestly just creepy af. and i don’t know if they’re lgbt or not but in all honesty, this all feels incredibly fetishistic, and i’m not here for that
either way i’m incredibly uncomfortable with them using that tag on my art and if they don’t remove it i’m just going to block them, nbd
it’s my birthday!!!!
Happy birthday my dude!!!!
thanks raven!!!!! <3333
