Me reading the overdue Sylvaina fic:

little Luke and Sophie moment, post 3x11

it's still so funny that Sophie was like, "for the record, I was into Ryan long before I knew she was Batwoman." and Luke was like, 'give me a date. bc you were pretty high and mighty for somebody crushing on a criminal.'

next time they're alone, Luke's gonna be like, "no, Sophie, for real, for how long?"

"I'm not talking about this."

"Pre-Angelique rescue? Pre-Coryana? Did you like her when you questioned her back when she first got the suit? When you made that comment about Jacob and Alice?" Luke groans. "Did you make that comment because you got distracted?"

Sophie huffs. "I made that comment because it's a normal comment! How was I supposed to know Ryan would put the pieces together? I didn't think she was that smart!" Sophie's face twists, and Luke laughs.

"So you thought she was a dumb criminal!" He laughs even harder. "Oh my God, Sophie. You're so shallow."
