I had the same happen, Chrome reset somehow, so I lost all of my bookmarks/folders and everything in the bookmarks bar. If Chrome did reset, you can’t get it back. (Go to Chrome/Settings, it should help)
yeah thats what happened everythingelse is still there (extensions or chrome settings etc) just the bookmarks bar and folder is empty :/
