hi! a bit of a silly question, but about how characters are paired up/roomed together, does that mean those characters are "supposed" to become romantically interested in each other? but the rpers can decide 'nah' to the concept of fate if those characters roomed together don't have chemistry? I feel like I'm likely misunderstanding, so I'm sorry about that!

Fating is up to you, and how you interpret it with your fated partner. It can be lovers, friendship, enemies, rivals, etc. Characters are actually paired up based on how their personalities are meant to be absolutely incompatible. So there's no forcing of relationships in any manner if there is absolutely no chemistry. There is always further options to fate with someone else upon request within the server.
