Every day from September 27th through October 3rd we will have a different prompt for you to draw inspiration from. Every prompt is designed to be vague so that each person can interpret it differently! There is no right or wrong way to participate. Whether you are an artist, a writer, a video editor, etc, you can join! Fics should be added to our ao3 collection. This event is not exclusive to members of our discord, so please join us!

september 27th: saving for a rainy day

september 28th: truth or dare

september 29th: "do you think it would be different if you loved me?"

september 30th: present company excluded

october 1st: heros or villains

october 2nd: "kiss me like you mean it."

october 3rd: now or never

Hi! This is my first time potentially participating in firstprince week so I had a few questions!

1) daily prompts - do works have to be posted on that day, eg. “Kiss me like you mean it” post on Oct. 2

(I’m assuming that’s the preference, just checking!)

2) if I’m working on a sorry that contains various prompts, I’m assuming I’d break it down by chapter and post on the day?

Finally, 3) can I include my story in other collections (outside of the FirstPrince week collection)?

Hello Noni! Welcome to firstprince week, we are so excited you might be participating! And thank you for reaching out. <3 For your questions: 1. Ideally, yes, each prompt is designated to a specific day and your coordinating fic should be posted that day. Ultimately, we understand that people may not be available to post on the indicated date, so of course if you need to post on a different day you can. However, our collection will not accept fics posted before September 27 or after October 10th (one week after the event has ended for anyone who needed a little extra time). 2. Yep! 3. Yes, of course!
