The amount of transmisogyny on that kinfessions blog recently is insane btw. I'm a trans guy but the idea of claiming someone headcanons source me (a man) as transfem makes me dysphoric or that I don't like seeing transfem headcanons is absurd. Why would someone else's experiences or interpretation of my source character make me dysphoric. They're not talking about Me they're not referring to Me Specifically as she/her. They don't know nor care that I exist it is literally not about me

If your reaction to someone hcing a character you're kin with/are sourced from etc. as transfem is discomfort, maybe stop and consider whether you're actually experiencing dysphoria over them addressing You, As An Autonomous Individual Reading This as fem or if you're just uncomfortable with The Character being interpreted as transfem. One of those is dysphoria because it directly involves how people perceive you as an entity. The other one is you being (trans)misogynistic and getting mad because people headcanon a character as transfem or a woman with zero relation to You.

Also hey sidenote why's it always transmascs making those "ugh why do people headcanon me as transfem it makes me dysphoric :(" asks. I rarely see transfems or trans women talking about dysphoria re: transmasc/men headcanons . and if they do there's never complaints or wishing that people not talk about their headcanons. Real mystery

Imagine you're impersonating a guy to get information but the guy you're following around gives you alcohol on his fancy ship, his assistant gives you nasty "tea" because he's jealous of you, and then your target kicks you overboard.
