North woke up, but kept his eyes closed. His head ached and he knew the light would only make it worse. He took a moment to try and remember where he was, it wasn't his bed, the sheets were too stiff and the air smelled.. off. Oh, right. North thought, med-bay. His neck itched, and his head was pounding, but otherwise he didn't notice any immediate side effects of being implanted with an AI. He tried to recall the name of the AI, but it seemed just out of reach.
