One of my happiest moments was when I traveled alone with my sister. It was two years ago I think (or idk if one, whenever TFIOS got out). Basically we had planned to watch TFIOS for about a month ahead when we went on the trip. That night came, we bought the tickets and the movie was at like 8pm. We got there bought a bunch of snacks and got to the movie. I remember being so happy, for first time I felt free and myself and it was one of the best trips bc I didnt go with my parents. I loved it
That sounds so cool!! I’d love to have a sister to do that kind of trips with her but I don’t. I really like when I do stuff without my parents because I feel responsible and happy like ‘Hey, it’s nice to have some help but if I don’t, I can do it too!’ When I get older, I know I’ll prefer going on a trip with my parents rather than alone/with anyone else but I think that’s because I always enjoy experiencing things that don’t happen regularly so that’s why I’d enjoy a lot going on a trip alone rn. But that’s great!! Stuff that doesn’t happen everyday is what really keeps us going imho. thanks! x
