The dusk embraced the city that appeared like a garden of lights and the watch on his left wrist at last ticked to the moment he should flip the hanging sign to indicate the public that the confectionery parlor had reached its closing time. He wended his way towards the double glass doors and the soft thuds of his heels pressing against the marble floor stopped echoing once he was near enough to turn the small rectangle piece that clung onto one of the transparent structures. Stealing a quick glance at the dark sky and releasing a sigh of relief after hours of work, he spun around to stroll through the sitting area and let his eyes wander about the place that possessed a modern concept. It never bored him to stare at the warm hued illumination gracing the earthy shades of the walls together with the luxurious atmosphere that kissed every inch of the entire shop. If asked to describe the parlor, he would say it was paradisaical.
Lemmi listened to the instrumental jazz that kept playing in the parlor and watched as his workers dressed in black performed their final duties before swinging his pale green orbs to a particular lad who sat at a table not too far from him. He noticed the young man had been spending his time in the shop for quite a while, holding a pencil in between his fingers and pouring his attention on the book he worked on, though it did not matter to the teenager how engrossed he seemed in the paper, he did not think he should allow him to stay any longer. The blond then trod to the customer and decided that it was time to tell him to take his leave now that the parlor was closed. With the other male's back facing him, he brought himself to a standstill a couple of steps behind his seat once he caught a sketch under his pencil. For a moment, Lemmi mused just how stunning it was even though it was still incomplete — he did not have the heart to stop him from finishing the drawing that he swallowed back the words he had in mind and instead, allowed a praise to escape his lips, "What a beautiful piece you have there."

Will was unaccustomed to field work. Having only a brief career in the Lousiana police department, working for the FBI had meant teaching students from the aloof position held behind a wooden podium. Now, being faced with a challenge the title of Special Agent carried with it, Graham held no choice but to take action.
He eyed the apartment, glancing to the other agents beside him for reassurance in their plan. Finding only solemn glances and brief head nods, the vested agents awaited for Graham’s que. He gave it to them.
Walking quickly across the road towards the apartment’s door, the base-level suit was broken into with a swift kick of forceful entry. The swamp of agents in black followed after him, running down the foyer of the stylish home.
The whitewashed walls were scattered with minimalist paintings and the apartment held a sanitized smell about it, the pristine furniture hardly showing a wrinkle.
The agents tore through.
"Andre Rosalier! You are under arrest for contempt and suspicion of murder!" There was only silence that answered the angry call, but the anonymous tip the FBI had received concerning the latest kidnap victim clearly identified Rosalier as the culprit.
They continued scanning the home, running through the rooms systematically and without cessation. But Andre Rosalier was like a ghost, and even his house seemed devoid of any earthly activities.
Wearied from the tireless search, Graham stood silently in the kitchen with the cold overhead lights pouring down over his ashen hair. Out of the corner of his eye, something caught his attention. A single long, black line was etched into the interior wall. He fit a single finger into the darken crevasse, and it opened wider and slid to the left. Prying it open, the hidden door revealed a descent to steps that lay hidden from them.
Pulling out a gun, he yielded the attention of another agent and they took the decent together with pulled guns.
At the bottom of the basement, a hideous sight beheld them. Blood and gore lined the brick walls of the inhospitable room, the freshly dead corpse of the missing woman lay face down on the floor.
Andre had a gun pulled on them.
"Put down your weapon. Mr. Rosalier, you are under arrest!" The other agent shouted, his voice shrill in terror.

One minute to write a drabble.
She sighed, knowing there were things he wouldn’t answer. Felix was stubborn and introverted, really. Artemis figured she could make him talk, but what would that accomplish? She had things she didn’t want him finding out either. Perhaps they owed it to each ot
Clearing his throat, Theo studied the stranger with careful eyes. He would've said, 'you look familiar' but nearly everyone did when you've been alive for so long. All of the faces seemed to run together, every feature no more recognizable than the others he had seen. He wet his lips, slowly tracing his cool tongue over his bottom lip.
"What's your name?" the vampire questioned, deep brown eyes darting to the stranger's as he awaited their answer.
▶ Visage pâle tourné á facé l'autre avec un sourcil hautain levé, et les yeux gris examiné sa forme avec dégoût. "Eh, c'est quoi ton problème?"
