People may already be aware of this, but through October 31st, 2025, Frameline has put together a free program called "The World Is Watching: A Queer History Showcase," which allows you to RSVP and access a bunch of queer shorts and features at no cost.
Some of the works include two of Marlon Riggs' films, documentaries about lesbian representation in film and about the intersex community, and shorts blocks about archival representations of queerness + contemporary trans/nonbinary stories.
I'm pretty sure I don't need to go in depth here about the importance of making and sharing and preserving and learning from and honoring the work that queer people have done and are doing. So I will just say: whether you're interested in brushing up on historically significant films or exploring some contemporary work; if you're an expert on queer cinema or totally new to it all - there's something here for you, and you deserve to see it.
You can check out the programming and RSVP to get access here.
