So my friend likes Framie, and for Christmas wanted to see what it might look like for them to have a family down the line. Here’s what I was able to come up with.

I gave my friend an early Christmas present. She asked for Framie so I figured why not go all out and do the gayest thing. This was a fun piece to work on!

He’s never kissed a boy before.

Well, strike that. He’s never kissed anyone, actually. But somehow the idea of kissing a boy makes his hands sweat and his stomach tie in too many knots. 

He’s never thought about it. Never dared to even consider it, let alone with his best friend. But now that he’s here, his eyes screwed tightly shut and his body much  too rigid to be quite enjoying this, Jamie doesn’t feel as scared as he thought he would be.

Francisco’s lips are soft. Gentle.

Jamie never expected his friend to be gentle at anything, what with how blunt and tactless the boy usually is.

He can feel his jaw tremble ever so slightly against his own. Jamie takes some reassurance that this might be as scary for Francisco as it is for him, too.

It must take no longer than a few seconds - it must - but when they both shift away and quietly look at each other, it feels like an eternity.

Francisco softly clears his throat, his gaze darting away briefly. His efforts at appearing nonchalant are transparently forced.

“Is this OK?” he eventually asks.

Jamie wets his lips, shifts his feet, and allows himself to soar as high as the butterflies assaulting his stomach.

When Francisco looks back at him, Jamie’s already hooking his hand behind his neck.

Another kiss is as good an answer as any.
