Art Intervention Project Proposal: Framing the Homeless
I would like to bring attention to the homeless community in Denver and the surrounding area. I believe that people are more prone to bring attention and value to art and art galleries than they would be to give attention and priority to homelessness. With the permission of the subject matter, I would like to set up a picture frame stand around the homeless condition.
Framing something tends to add value to what is being framed. It also causes the viewer to bring attention to the framed. This is my goal.
IDEAS TO INCLUDE:
*Provide facts and stats about the homeless community to bring awareness
*Ask the viewer to donate/give a value to the “art” they are viewing.
