For some reason I really really love watching Endings, Beginnings. I mean, it's not really a good movie but Sebastian looks HOT AF in it and Frank is all sorts of red flags, but damn it, I AM WEAK.

I've dated men like him before which is sad but oh well.

If only the characters were developed in a better way or maybe if the story was told in a better way, I guess it could have been a better movie? It is authentic and raw I suppose but there's some stuff that's lacking.

Even under the dim lights of the bar you can see Frank’s eyes darken as he watches you lick the salt off your hand. With your gaze locked on his you down the tequila, the burn of the alcohol weak in comparison to how hot he is. Before you can grab the lime, he has it wedged between lips, eyebrows raised in an invite.

Without a second thought you lean in, sucking on the lime for a moment before he drops it and crashes his lips to yours. His hand cradles the back of your head, gently tugging on your hair as you taste the tequila on his tongue. He sucks your bottom lip between his teeth, pulling away to rest his forehead against yours, “I would say I’m sorry, but I’m not.”

“Neither am I,” you whisper against his lips, opening your mouth as his tongue slips past. Reaching your hand up to caress his jaw, you trace your fingers over his beard, moaning into his mouth. It isn’t until you feel the heavy stare of someone else that you break apart, lips swollen and pupils wide.

Looking over Frank’s shoulder you see a pair of striking blue eyes staring back at you. Lifting his glass, the man gives you a smirk, his eyes never leaving yours as he downs the drink. “What caught your eye, baby,” Frank asks, turning to look.

The man throws down some bills and saunters toward you and Frank with a determined look on his face. “If I had known this bar had such good live entertainment, I would have come ages ago,” he hums, gazing down at you the whole time he talks. “Hey buddy, can’t you tell we’re on a date here,” Frank interjects, clearly annoyed.

The man grabs your hand, bringing your knuckles to his lips, “I’m Charles.” You can’t help the blush that coats your cheeks as a breathy “hi” leaves your lips, unable to control the way your body reacts to him. His smile is slow and devious as he asks, “are you sure you two or on a date? Or have you just met? Maybe you’re trying to get rid of me.”

Frank scoffs, “that sounds about right.” Charles finally looks over at Frank, “see I knew this wasn’t a date.” Frank opens his mouth to speak but quickly shuts it, his jaw clenched tight as he looks over to you. “I’m y/n, this is Frank and yes we just a met a couple of hours ago.”

“Then you won’t mind if I join you for a drink,” Charles says, getting the bartenders attention. “I mind,” Frank grits out. “Maybe you should ask y/n first, Frank. She can speak for herself,” Charles drawls with a grin. Covering Franks lips with your finger, you say quietly, “you said you wanted to have fun tonight.”

Frank glares at you for a moment before sighing and turning to Charles, “what’s your poison?” Charles smiles triumphantly, “first round is on me. Let’s see how many we can go tonight.” Your breath hitches as you take in his double meaning, watching as Frank’s eyes widen slightly before he licks his lips. “I have plenty of alcohol at my place if you’d rather take it somewhere quieter.”

“I thought you’d never ask,” Charles says, dropping cash onto the bar before he turns and starts toward the exit. You stand, positioning yourself between Frank’s thighs. “Listen, let’s see how it goes, this could be really fun,” you whisper into his ear as you discreetly run your hand over the bulge in his jeans.

He grabs your wrist, stilling your hand, “as long as I get to fuck you tonight, I’m happy.” Charles’ voice is so close to your ear it startles you, not realizing he had come back, “that’s the plan, Frank. After I fuck her, of course.” He smiles, crooking his finger as both you and Frank stand and follow him out of the bar.

It was half past midnight, and you had been trying to fix your pride for the past three hours. It was only earlier that night, you had walked in on your boyfriend of two years - head between your friends’ legs. Which led to the moment here, your hand gripped around the now empty shot glass, where scotch used to be.

You cleared your throat, “Could I get another..Please?”

The bartender nodded, and you could only wallow in your own self pity. There could’ve been other ways to deal, besides nearly drowning your veins in liquor. But right now, that seemed like the only option you could wrap your mind around. Taking a deep breath, you watched the shot glass fill once more. You didn’t hesitate. You threw your head back, letting the hard liquor burn your throat. You slightly winced, slamming the glass down once more - and this time you didn’t have to ask, only a nod and the man behind the counter knew you weren’t stopping anytime soon.

“I’ll have what she’s having.”

You furrowed your brow, hearing a man’s voice approach the bar. You turned to see who had preferred the same poison of choice. You released a sigh of annoyance nearly immediately. Frank. 

As always, he was dressed in grungy clothing, his chesnut brown hair in complete disarray. You’ve known him for a few years, so you could point him out of the crowd. Your relationship was barely past acquaintance, You knew him from an old friend - and you had heard enough horror story to stay away.

“What are you doing here Frank-” You sighed, downing yet another shot.

“I heard.” He mumbled, motioning to the bartender, “You look like hell.”

“Yeah well, you don’t look so great yourself.” You scoffed, rolling your eyes.

“You know,” He softly chuckled, “You don’t look so bad.”

“Please.” You nearly laughed along with him, “You’ve had more to drink than I have.”

“I’m serious,” Frank lowered his voice, “He’s missing out.”

You raised a brow, “Shouldn’t you be somewhere else? breaking some girls heart somewhere?”

He smirked, “Looks like I got sidetracked.”

“It must be hard with your sense of direction, never being able to find your way to a decent pickup line.” You leaned back in your chair.

“I don’t need one.” His eyes fixated on you, taking one swig of his drink.

“Is that so?” Crossing your arms, you were prepared for a ridiculous response.

“I’m going to go to the bathroom.” Frank set down the drink slowly, “And I’m going to wait five minutes.”

“What?” You looked at him with complete confusion.

“I’m going to wait five minutes.” He repeated, sliding out of his chair, “And if you’re going to join me, like I know you have ever since you met me. I’ll be there.”

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” You giggled, “Seriously? This works for you?”

He slowly smiled, making his way towards you - you didn’t flinch when he positioned his lips close to your ear.

“You and I both know it’s time to stop dancing around this.” He whispered, “Don’t think about it.”

“And if I come? What then?” You tried to stifle your laugh.

“Then, I bend you over the counter and fuck you,” He spoke slowly, “like youre meant to be fucked. until we’re both breathless and hanging in the balance of pure ecstasy”

Every hair on your body stood, and you went completely still. Suddenly your mind drifted away from everything else, and you were wrapped in the thoughts you’ve had before.

“Five minutes.” You choked out, “Make it One.”

“Sixty..Fifty Nine..” Frank’s voice trailed off as he walked away, and you couldn’t believe it.

You heard his belt buckle moments before he disappeared into the bathroom.
