I figured I would create a post that outlined my favourite shops that people often overlook.
I love to shop in general, and I often find that there are hidden gems online that people either forget about or don’t know about! This is just going to be an absolute dump of places that aren’t too expensive, but have very great clothing, customer service, and more!
1. YesStyle : I love these guys so much!! They sell Korean skincare (which is a Tumblr human’s favourite type of skincare ok) for a fraction of the price. Just a disclaimer - Not everything on this site is legit. READ YOUR REVIEWS and DO YOUR RESEARCH before purchasing. Wishlist your favourites and come back to them later. Sizing is probably the biggest con about this place. It always runs small for me, and I have to order one to two sizes larger than my actual size, and I'm only a size Small. I would say to stick to the basics, and shop skincare most often, you won't be disappointed!!
2. ThredUp : They are an online thrift shop based out of Penn State that sells all types of amazing brands, from forever21 to LouisV. You can buy jeans and jewelry, shirts, bodysuits, bags and items with the tags still on them! It was a fantastic experience for me when I shopped with them for the very first time, and they do very much want you to come back! My pair of jeans is still in amazing condition after two years, and they cost under 40 dollars!! They tailor the site to your size and fashion sense, so you aren't stuck looking through oodles of clothes that you don't even like. I would seriously recommend that you check them out and give them a follow, like and support them!! It’s not often that you get a thrift brand that ships out to different countries. Totally worth it! ❤️
Alright so, I know I said I was sticking to ONLINE vendors, but this Canadian-Based company is too good to pass up if you're ever in the area!! They have locations in Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec, Oshawa, Burlington, Mississauga, and more!! If you're in Canada be sure to look up a Plato’s Closet! You’re bound to find one wherever you end up.
3. Plato’s Closet - A thrift store that takes the latest fashions only (from this season or the last). Not only can you buy some beautiful pieces for a fraction, you can SELL yours too!! Any clothing you have can be recycled for some money. They sell jewelry too, and bags, belts, and an assortment of body care items, new or gently used. Hit them up for amazing style at amazing prices!
4. Frank & Oak - I love this online shop specifically for their monthly subscription program! All you have to do is sign up online, and they take down your size, fashion preferences, and more!! Their boxes are customizable based on your needs and wants, and their return policy makes it easy to give back the clothing you end up not wanting as much as you did on the website. You’re able to skip every month too! If you're able to keep up with it I highly recommend this site for any long term, good quality clothing. They're environmentally conscious and they really keep the customer in mind when they provide service.
☀️ If you have any more, feel free to reblog and add to this post!! I would love some interaction considering I’m just starting out. 🌤
