I feel like even though Highbottom played the father role and been a good influence on Coryo, I still don't think he would be better.

He would still be the same and treat Highbottom just like Prof. Sickle, a tool to his success. AND I think he would try, at least once, to take over The Hunger Games from Highbottom since he informed that his father was a part of the project. He would think that he had the right to take over it since it was one of his father's legacy. Like, LOOK AT HIM

In conclusion, no matter which ways Highbottom behaved around Coryo, good or bad, he would still end up dead. Coryo would still be the same.
